Join Donnie Abel with his Adaptive Karate series learning the functional and holistic side of Karate. Soar into Empi (flying swallow), with roots in Tomari-te and is considered one of the oldest kata in Shotokan karte. The original name was wanshu and had quick up and down motions resembling a flying swallow. Class will consist of: ~2-Person Application Flow Drill ~ Striking the lower extremities and weak areas ~ Unorthodox positions one finds themselves in and creating advantages through strike techniques ~ Partner Focus Mitt Target Impact drills ~ Movement lab (upper and lower leg release techniques) Course will be held at Cartoogechaye School: 3295 Old Murphy Rd, Franklin NC Saturday August 26th 10am -1pm
